DIRC Meeting Room Booking Form

Please use the form below to create any number of room bookings for your organisation. Payment for all bookings created must be made in one sum.

Booking Confirmation

If you select PayPal as your payment method and then complete payment through PayPal your bookings will be marked as confirmed immediately. If you select another payment method, your bookings will be held for 3 working days. If we do not receive payment during this time, your bookings will be cancelled.

Pricing

Room hire fees are based on the number of rooms booked and the duration of the booking. The system will automatically determine which pricing scheme a booking falls under.

Hourly Pricing

Bookings lasting up to 3 hours and taking place during business hours are charged at a rate of $25 per hour per room +GST.

Half / Full Day Bookings

If a booking does not qualify for the hourly rate it will be charged as either a half day or full day booking.

Bookings lasting up to 4 hours are considered half day bookings and bookings lasting more than 4 hours are considered full day bookings.

An exception to the above rule occurs if a booking extends from morning to afternoon. (Morning is considered to last until 1pm. Afternoon starts at 1pm and lasts for the rest of the day). A (non hourly) booking that starts in the morning and ends in the afternoon will be charged as a full day booking regardless of its duration. For example, a booking starting at 11am and finishing at 3pm will be charged as a full day booking even though it only lasts 4 hours.

Note that although bookings can start and end on half hours, the total length of a booking must be measured in whole hours.

Room set up cannot commence until the start time of your booking. It cannot be started earlier.

Parking

There is some off street parking on the Centre premises. Please do not park in spaces reserved for DIRC staff.

For one-off bookings the Hirer, in paying the fee, will be covered by Disability Information & Resource Centre general public and products liability insurance policy. For ongoing or long-term bookings the Hirer should have public liability insurance as detailed in the Terms & Conditions. If you are making several bookings for the future please use this field to attach evidence of this policy in the form of a Certificate of Currency.
If you wish to pay via PayPal you will need either a PayPal account, a Visa card, a MasterCard or a Discover card. Payments made via Cheque or Money Order will incur an additional $5 charge.
